My name's Olivia. I'm 15. And I've decided to start blogging. Fashion is my life. It's my passion. It's my one true love. College is only a few years away for me and I've decided that I want to attend fashion school. So I thought I should start to build my portfolio. And what better way to do that than posting pictures of the outfits I wear on the Internet!
I started a Youtube channel about a year ago and have filmed a few lookbooks. But, being a high school student, it is truly challenging for me to find time to film and edit videos. Blogging is something I can do on the go. (Thank God for the Blogger App!)
I think sharing your outfits with the world is such a great way to show your true self to others. I believe that your clothes reflect who you are, how you're feeling, and most importantly, your clothes can be a means by which you express yourself. That's what I'm all about. I think it is vital, especially in your teenage years, to show the people around you how you feel. Fashion is a way to do that without even saying a word. To me, that is one of the most beautiful aspects of it.
I am young, so my style is going to continue to develop. Honestly, I feel that our personal style never ceases to revise and refine itself. I am glad that I'm starting this blog now. I'm a Sophomore in High School. That means I have three years left before I'm able to fully propel myself into the Fashion Industry. My hope is that you will stay with me through my journey and witness the evolution of my style right alongside me.
So, with all that being said, I invite you to follow me through these next few years. They will be the most critical in the development of my style as well as the metamorphosis of myself as a person. I'm eager to see how greatly I will change.
